Join Joey Vincent (a.k.a. Joe Camilleri) and Bakelite Radio on a deluxe, two hour musical journey. Expect to hear something old, something new and something painted blue..it’s about the songs and songwriters that have shaped Joe’s musical output.
As Joe explains “Bakelite Radio is my pressure cooker release from my main squeeze. This intimate show consolidates everything I’ve been doing for the last 60 years as a musician, singer songwriter but most of all as a music fan…there’ll be a few surprises.”
Joe started recording as Bakelite Radio in 2000 as a side project to The Black Sorrows (main squeeze). Mining his vast vinyl collection, he selected diverse and even obscure songs to arrange and record.
