Jessie Gordon & Mark Turner – Paris Cat – Melbourne

May 18 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm AEST

After a sell-out show at the Paris Cat, we’re thrilled to be back!
Paris Cat proudly presents accomplished guitarist and vocalist Mark Turner alongside jazz and blues singer Jessie Gordon as they return to perform songs from their latest original jazz album ‘All The Rage’ — and more. Joining them is the talented Karl Florisson from Perth on double bass, adding his signature stylings to the night. Expect an unforgettable evening of music, audience requests featuring highlights from their latest release and beyond!
Accomplished multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter Mark Turner and jazz/blues singer and songwriter Jessie Gordon grew up together, starting their careers as teenagers in a swing orchestra, and they haven’t stopped playing music together since. More than 20 years of friendship have ensued, with music as the cornerstone of their lives.
Together they have toured Australia, Asia and Europe, won multiple awards and recorded on nine albums, including their collaborative releases ‘Best Friends’ (2019) and ‘Live at Kidogo’ (2021).
In 2025 Jessie and Mark are touring around the world and will kick start the tour in Melbourne. All the Rage is a swingin’ album comprising almost entirely original music created by this incredibly dynamic duo.
