Album Launch – ‘Interstate Pulse’
In this special presentation – and his first ever appearance at Bird’s Basement – Jeff will be introducing a new album of instrumental 12 string guitar music. The album ‘Interstate Pulse’ consists of beautiful improvised compositions recorded over the last few years, gathered on one limited edition CD for the first time.
For this special launch party, Jeff will perform popular favourites from across his 30 + year career, some carefully chosen gems that are rarely performed, along with a suite of 12 string guitar instrumentals from the album, most of which have never been played live. These songs cover a lot of ground stylistically, from pieces with their roots in blues to extended folk melodies and onto utterly unique melodic excursions, these songs further highlight Jeff’s versatility and compound the fact that he is one of Australia’s finest guitarists.
