Introduction to Permaculture – Phillip Island
What is Permaculture? A gardening technique? A blueprint for a saner world? A revolution disguised as gardening? Learn about the history, ethics and principles of Permaculture. Whether you are a complete beginner, wish to refresh your knowledge or just work out if Permaculture is for you, this weekend course will send you home with a head full of new ideas for your own plot.
Course fee includes workshops on hot composting techniques, no-dig gardening workshop, seed saving and a garden design component.
About the teachers:
Penelope Swales trained with Permaculture stalwarts John Champagne and Rosemary Morrow. She is the founder of P iggery Road Permaculture.
Carolyn Rowson is a graduate of Southern Cross Permaculture, founder of the Kongwak Community Garden and Owner of the Kongwak Nursery
