Ilya Shambat at Cherry Poets – 12 – 2.30pm

UPDATE: It’s a one-time only kinda thing… this Saturday the Cherry Poets gig will be from 12-2.30pm, owing to a high number of back room dinner bookings and band shenanigans.
It’s good to see the friendly old faces! Regulars from our days as the Dan Poets may well recall Ilya Shambat, a fiery Russian poet performing works of his own as well as his translations of Russian works. Well this Saturday, we are privileged to be hosting none other than one ILYA SHAMBAT as our feature, who’s flying up from Brisbane to be back amongst the Melbourne poets for a few days. And that’s not all – there’ll be plenty of surprises on the day, with open mic and more! Watch this page, we’ll update with details as they come to hand. 🙂
