Originally from Greece, Fotis Vergopoulos is set to return to Australia this December. He will lead an outstanding group of local and interstate musicians, embodying the new wave of Greek talent known for his exceptional musicianship and strong connection to rebetika (Greek Blues).
Currently based in Athens, Fotis has toured extensively throughout Europe, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. He has collaborated with renowned artists such as Agathonas Iakovidis, Martha Fritzila, Babis Gkoles, and Manolis Pappos.
Rebetika, often referred to as Greek Blues, is a genre of Greek folk music that emerged in the early 20th century. It explores themes of struggle, love, and defiance, characterized by its raw, emotional style and typically performed with instruments like the bouzouki. This genre holds a significant place in urban Greek culture.

In the case of feature ticketed shows, seating will be automatically assigned to all ticket holders, and please be aware that some tables are shared; no reservations are required for tables.
Limited seating is offered for all dance party events to allow for an open dance floor experience.
Open Studio offers a patio and an outdoor garden courtyard with seating.
Enjoy a variety of options, including sweet and savory crepes, cheese boards, jaffles, homemade nachos, cocktails, mocktails, and more, served until late.

Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.
