The Christine Manetta Combo presents a distinctive blend of energy driven music, a fusion of original songs drawing on genres such as Contemporary Blues and Soul- Jazz. Together with Re-imagined lively arrangements of Blues Classics, encapsulating Christine’s greatest influence, Nina Simone.
Christine Manetta has emerged recently as a dynamic Songwriter with 4 songs from her Album ‘One Woman One Day’ being shortlisted and reaching the Top 30 in the 2021 Australian Songwriters Association Contest.
Expect sultry heartfelt vocals along with Latin American inspired melodic Blues riffs within Jazz improvisations, which will transport you back to a time of raw simplicity and good times.
