Big Band Frequency @ The Castlemaine Jazz Festival

It’s the best season of the year! And what season is that, you may ask? Why, it’s jazz festival season!
Coming up on the King’s Birthday weekend is one of the highlight’s of any Victorian’s year, the Castlemaine Jazz Festival, and Big Band Frequency is back, performing at 8:20pm on the 8th of June at the Theatre Royal!
As always, it’s a stellar lineup of small groups, combos, and of course many great big bands. And as always we’ll be bringing the funk, the punk, the jazz, and the razzmatazz!

Mick Pacholli

Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.
