September 24 @ 9:30 pm - September 25 @ 12:30 am
Bernadette Novembre is back at The B.East, this time bringing her new dream indie Rock sound. Joined by Özergun and Ally Mac, this is not to be missed!
Hyped to be the next big thing in Indie Rock, Bernadette and her band are back at The B.East but this time previewing her forthcoming debut Album with all new original tunes!
Bernadette’s new music can be described as a mix of late 1960’s Rock: The Doors, George Harrison, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, David Bowie with Brit Rock/Alternative Rock: Arctic Monkeys, The Last Shadow Puppets, The Vaccines, Babyshambles, Queens of The Stone Age, Franz Ferdinand, Muse, Oasis, Nick Cave and Chrissie Hynde. Her new music has been described as ‘Avant-Indie Alt Rock on the dreamscape’. The songwriting pedigree is evident throughout her new music with co-songwriter and Producer Joshua Moriarty (of bands Miami Horror, TELENOVA and All The Colours) on board.
Highlights of her career thus far include playing support to band members of The Rolling Stones and being part of the headline at Festivals such as the St Kilda Festival. One of Bernadette’s new songs made it to the Top 30 of the Australian Songwriters Association Songwriting Contest in 2020.
Bernadette’s band is made up of well-known Melbourne musicians Jason Lambrou (Keys), Adyn Young (Guitar), Lawson Kennard (Bass) and Luke Andresen (Drums).
Özergun is an Australian band that explores a variety of rock, funk, jazz, folk and world music genres.
While the studio recordings are structured songs, live performances heavily feature improvised solo sections and groovy jam sessions.

Ally Mac is a singer, songwriter and musician from Melbourne, Australia. Raised in a musical household, she began performing professionally in her teen years as a singer and dancer prior to her emergence as a songwriter in her early twenties.
On her debut EP release, “Sensibility”, due out in late 2022, Ally Mac’s silvery vocals act as a counterpoint to her roaring compositions, like a siren wielding her very first electric guitar. Awash with 90s influences, her sound elicits: PJ Harvey and Kylie Minogue, Pixies and Garbage.
