*********
Following the prolific release of their self-titled album and their biggest headline shows to date in 2024, today MAKE THEM SUFFER today announce a massive 2025 regional Australian tour, set to bring their insatiable live show on an 18-date run this June and July, joined by special guests JUSTICE FOR THE DAMNED and THE GLOOM IN THE CORNER.
Evolving from early deathcore leanings into more melodic territory via their 2012 debut full length Neverbloom, MAKE THEM SUFFER’s eternal pursuit for innovation and creative exploration has propelled the group from local Perth favourites into stalwart heavy fixtures on the world stage. Fusing elements of melodic death metal, heavy metalcore, symphonic elements and beyond into their dynamic trademark sound over the years, 2024 saw the MAKE THEM SUFFER enter their most galvanised era to date, with their self-titled fifth album balancing lashings of melodic light and blistering shade, while also cementing the five-piece as one of the most influential and inventive acts in the scene.
Having previously toured globally alongside a horde of industry heavyweights, including Bring Me The Horizon, Sleep Token, Parkway Drive, While She Sleeps, ERRA and Stray From The Path, MAKE THEM SUFFER will commence a huge headline North American tour later this week, supported by Like Moths To Flames, Windwaker and Aviana, before headlining in Europe and the UK alongside Resolve, If Not For Me and Conjurer before returning to home soil for their regional tour this June and July.
Hailing from the St George and Blue Mountains regions near Sydney, JUSTICE FOR THE DAMNED have been relentlessly touring nationally and internationally since forming in 2017, with their landmark 2020 sophomore album Pain Is Power firmly solidifying their heavyweight status, recorded by the renowned Will Putney and debuting at #18 on the ARIA Australian Albums charts. Splicing deathcore and metalcore into their sonic palette, JUSTICE FOR THE DAMNED have previously toured with Chamber, Kublai Khan TX and Malevolence, with 2025 also imminently set to gift new material as the group confront health challenges and personal struggles with unwavering determination.
Melbourne cinema-core masterminds THE GLOOM IN THE CORNER delve into the far reaches of human melancholy through a vessel of their own creation. A concept band with a razor-sharp and theatrical take on metalcore, THE GLOOM IN THE CORNER most recently continued their dark, heavy and operatic voyage through misery, woe and misanthropy via their 2022 sophomore album Trinity, as well as their most recent single The Jericho Protocol. Whether performing alongside Wage War, ERRA, HANABIE., Fit For A King and Vended, or stupefying in festival settings at the likes of Good Things Festival and UNIFY Gathering, THE GLOOM IN THE CORNER are not to be missed.
A truly formidable package combining some of Australia’s most electrifying heavy talent under one roof, do not miss the chance to witness MAKE THEM SUFFER across regional Australia this June and July.
