(Organic)
In the glass: An inviting ruby red colour.
Nose: Dried rose petals wrapped in menthol and mint that had a certainty about it.
In the mouth: The wine has a watery texture, robust and elegant, lean yet powerful, a wine with an expression of power like no other wine I have tasted today.
The acid, was incisive, however remarkably refined and elegant, showing the berry brightness of sour cherries washed with sweet balsamic notes.
Rating: Perfection
You might not believe this but I had this wine with Lobster Ravioli at a long standing Italian restaurant in Albert Park.
Delicacy and richness combine to produce one of the best food and wine pairings I could have ordered.
