Rich Webb & the Liars have been lighting up stages north of the river with their scintillating brand of alt-country/alt-rock for the past year, and they’re bringing their roller-coaster show south for this one-off matinee special at George Lane, on Saturday April 26.
Joining them for this cracking arvo will be fellow northern lights, The Calabrians.

Rich Webb has five compelling albums to his name, including ‘Le Rayon Vert’, 2019 Alt-Country Album of the Year. Lead single ‘Let it Rain’ was the 2019 Alt Country Single of the Year.

A passion for music throughout high school lead to performing in front of 10,000 people, supporting Major French Artists 3eme Oeil, IAM and Busta Flex. After 26 hours of flying time, NeeQ disembarked at the international terminal of Melbourne airport to call Australia his new home and make to make his name known to a new audience. The Droptails

Melbourne-based indie rockers the Droptails are returning for a few select live performances to promote their 2024 release Coronavirus the Musical — and just entertain!

The Droptails are a collection of homegrown indie/alt country rockers comprising members of the Huxton Creepers, Cracked Jaffers, Penthouse Paupers, and, of more recent times, the Tonalists.

The band formed through a musical collaboration recording project — Coronavirus the Musical. Following a summer hiatus, the Droptails be playing are a few shows from early May to further support the album. Support for the night is still to be announced.

Joyce Prescher returns to George Lane with her band for a special night. She has spent the last year working on new material and has just released brand new single ‘My Heroics’ with friend and musician Lachlan Bryan. Undoubtedly this will be a night filled with emotions brought in the shape of stories and song…. and it may just be an extra special one as Joyce welcomes another year around the sun.

The evening will be opened by Roesy, who Joyce first saw when he supported Joan as Police Woman at the Recital Centre. Blown away by his warm tone and wonderful storytelling, we’re excited to introduce him to George Lane – a perfect fit for his music.

The Heartbreak Club (Single Launches)

Heartbreak Club is a collaborative project led by singer songwriters Duncan Phillips and Stefanie Duzel, featuring Melbourne rhythm stalwarts Luke Richardson on Bass and Matt Gibson on Drums.

Originally conceived as multi artist showcase at the 2023 Tamworth Country Music Festival – where rotating artists performed their original material with a single backing band – the concept worked so well that founding member Duncan Phillips brought it home Melbourne.

Since then, various incarnations of the Heartbreak Club have taken to stages across the city and at Tamworth, evolving into a dynamic collective blending country, soul, blues and folk influences. Supporting on the day is Katie Brianna.
