CLAIRY BROWNE COMMENCES NATIONAL POOL ALBUM TOUR AND RELEASES RARE CANDY REMIX

“Browne’s very modern R&B is powerful and physical and sensual.”
 Sydney Morning Herald

“It’s Browne’s presence and control that leave us dripping and spent.”
 Rolling Stone Australia

Melbourne pop powerhouse Clairy Browne is bursting into 2017 with her first Australian tour in 2 years, kicking off at Melbourne’s The Night Cat on Wednesday 25 January, followed by a splash of interstate shows in Sydney and Adelaide, as well as festival appearances.

Riding on the high success of her 2016 release, which featured ‘disco infused title track ‘Pool’ and summer playlist must-have ‘Vanity Fair’, Clairy has been knuckling down in the rehearsal studio working on a fresh live show to bring to her Australian fans, and is excited to take her versatile blend of smouldering R&B and infectious edgy pop around the country this summer.

Stepping out on her own two feet after her time fronting for Clairy Browne & The Bangin’ Rackettes, Clairy will join an impressive spread of Aussie artists warming up St Kilda Festival’s Main Stage, before her Adelaide Fringe appearance at The Garden Of Unearthly Delights and the Grampians Music Festival with fire-spitting sets that are sure to prick ears, turn heads and cement herself as one of Australia’s leading women in music.

To celebrate the taking Pool on the road, Clairy enlisted UK DJ/production duo Rare Candy (who have remixed the likes of Olly Murs, Beyoncé, and Royksopp) to add their house influences to ‘F.U.B.’ one of her favourite album tracks. The Rare Candy rework is one hot vibing summer mix that is sure to get you grooving on the dance floor!
