There were 56,000 Bottles made that’s 4,666 doz. I don’t know what the usual turnover is but that sounds like a shipload of wine to me.
In the Glass: The wine is dark red turning blue at the rim.
The Nose: Is wonderful some herby hints of rich soil running through the wine.
In the Mouth: Ripe sour cherries run hand in hand with red roses swimming in a light mineral wash as they glide effortlessly across the plate. Just briefly sour cherries ripen in your mouth as warm alcohol makes a brief appearance, then disappears as quickly as it appears. The tannins are present but almost a background note to the tobacco leaf now starts to show it self. The wine is almost elegant in a rustic sort of way.
Drink 2024–2036.

I enjoyed this wine with a fresh baked Baget sliced mild salami with a block of Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese – 30 months. And that was all it needed.
