OnePlate is launching a new bespoke cookbook ‘Brunch in Melbourne’ for social impact

100 Cafes. 100 Chefs. 100 Recipes. 1 Iconic Book.

No one does brunch better than Melbournians, some argue it’s our best culinary export.  That’s why we are creating our limited-edition coffee table book, ‘Brunch in Melbourne,’ a world-first collation of 100 mouthwatering recipes from 100 chefs across 100 of Melbourne’s best cafes.

How much would you pay a top chef to get their favourite recipe? If you’re a foodie, chances are you’d spend big to acquire their knowledge and skills.  Well, you don’t have to. We are teaming up with 100 chefs from iconic cafes such as St Ali, MOB, and Winter to bring you the best.

You are invited to be a founding member of this book by pre-ordering a copy.

From 16 to 22 September 2019, you have the exclusive opportunity to pre-order ‘Brunch in Melbourne’ on Kick Starter for just $50 and here’s what you get:

  • $10 off RRP
  • your name printed in the first 5,000 copies under ‘Heroes for Impact’ to highlight your valued support.
  • the satisfaction of knowing that your donation goes directly to funding OnePlate’s sustainable food projects.

* Please note your book will be delivered after our launch event on March 2020.

OnePlate is breaking with tradition this year; instead of running our annual charity event, we’d love your support in pre-ordering our book to help us achieve our vision.

Launching in March 2020, our book will be produced by Australia’s leading food and wine publisher Sunday Press.  Featuring 100 brunch recipes from well-known chefs at respected cafes such as Bentwood, Clubhouse, and Inglewood Coffee, it’s a charitable cause worth supporting.

About OnePlate:

OnePlate is a DGR endorsed Australian charity partnering with foodies, restaurants, cafes, and pubs to fund sustainable food security projects in developing countries. Our vision is to nourish and enrich the lives of children who have been abandoned, orphaned, trafficked and child laborers. We do this by empowering the locals to grow sustainable food projects for the long-term impact to create self-sufficient communities to help children in the greatest of need. By leveraging the power of joy through food, here in Australia, we can provide hope, love, and support. OnePlate maximises its impact by ensuring 100% of funds raised go towards our sustainable food projects. We believe that providing organic and nutritional food sources for children and introducing them to the knowledge and skillsets needed to be self-sufficient in growing and securing their own food can be a powerful means of transformation and renewed hope.
