Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.
Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry.
Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.

Join us for a sumptuous sit-down affair, with bubbles on arrival, delicious Afternoon Tea, and a wonderful conversation with Prue and Jacinta. Ticket sales from this event donated to Artists for Kids Culture.
Jacinta Parsons is a broadcaster, radio maker, writer, public speaker and author of the memoir Unseen: The secret life of chronic illness. She currently hosts Afternoons on ABC Melbourne delivering a popular mix of art, culture and ideas. Prue was recently interviewed by Jacinta on her show with Brian Nankervis; The Friday Revue. We are very excited to welcome Jacinta to Brightspace to chat with the amazing and very interesting Prue Acton.
Artist for Kids Culture (AKC) provide artistic opportunities for children experiencing hardship. AKC support children directly so that they can participate in such things as; art classes, music lessons, dance classes etc. If i child is at risk of missing out, AKC help out. Ticket sales from the High Tea will be donated to AKC.
