Hi, hi, hello!
This past week has been a whirlwind, and I just want to take a moment to celebrate some huge milestones – because sometimes, in the chaos of making, performing, and planning, it’s easy to forget to acknowledge the wins.
My Jazzlab: Live at the Jazzlab album debuted at No. 6 on the ARIA Jazz & Blues charts (!!), proving that independent, self-released music can still make waves without the industry machine behind it.
Also, after playing two incredible nights supporting Hania Rani on the Melbourne Recital Centre big stage, I woke up to a review in The Age that absolutely floored me: “Kolac radiated warmth and openness as she welcomed us into her own shape-shifting realm.” That line means so much because it reminds me that what I love most about performing is the feeling of connection – real, raw, and immediate. This is what fuels me, and seeing my music resonate with others makes every step of this journey feel so worth it.

NEW ALBUM ALERT: “Keep Moving” Out April 23rd!
It’s happening! My new studio album Keep Moving will be released independently on April 23rd and thanks to all of you (and my Jazzlab album sales), I can confirm a very small, limited edition vinyl run. Presales open March 23rd so stay tuned so you don’t miss out!
And… one last little secret (shhhh 🤫): I’ll be announcing a national tour soon, including a Naarm home ground show at Northcote Social Club on May 16th. Pop it in your diaries – tix go on sale March 3rd.
