The Young King – Award-winning children’s theatre

Families across Melbourne are in for a treat. The achingly beautiful and tender language of Oscar Wilde joins the intimate and magical world of internationally acclaimed Adelaide theatre company, Slingsby. Journey in wonder, to a land of challenging choices and rich rewards.

A cleverly staged immersive entry process brings the audience into the world of the show and casts the audience as the people of the kingdom.

The production is part of a children’s literature and performing arts festival coming to the newly opened Ian Potter Centre for Performing Arts at Monash University, Clayton.

Mick created TAGG - The Alternative Gig Guide in 1979 with Helmut Katterl, the world's first real Street Magazine. He had been involved with his fathers publishing business, Toorak Times and associated publications since 1972.  Mick was also involved in Melbourne's music scene for a number of years opening venues, discovering and managing bands and providing information and support for the industry. Mick has also created a number of local festivals and is involved in not for profit and supporting local charities.
