  • Beaded Cord and Beaded Cord Connector: It’s a continuous loop that is used for raising and lowering the shades. Connector, on the other hand, is used at the ends of the beaded cord of the dual roller blinds. It serves as the stopping end for lower and upper travel limits.

  • End Plug: End plug is often regarded as the rotator. It is attached at the end of the roller tube, typically opposite the clutch to ensure free rotation of the roller tube. It is the rotation pin of the plug that fits into the installation bracket.

  • Roller Tube: The fabric of the roller blinds is rolled around the roller tube, which is not even visible if it is completely lowered.

  • Cord Tensioner: Tensioner is usually added to increase the safety. It ensures that the chains are not a choking hazard, a tensioning device is provided. The cord tensioner locks the chain to avoid unthreading. It should not be too tight, instead, just rigid to form a loop. Even if the tensioner is not used, it should be secured to avoid creating a loop of around 220 mm or 1600mm above the floor level and cannot be undone by a child.

  • Cassette System: It is the headrail system which is a single-piece component. It is quite easy to mount in the ceiling or wall mount. Its primary purpose is to conceal the lifting system and the fabric roll. Cover it with the matching fabric of the dual roller blinds to provide an astonishing finish. Also known as fascia, it can be double-shaped, curved, square, and many more.

  • Cassette Mounting Brackets: These are used for mounting the shades from the top and back, typically ceiling mount and wall mount, respectively.

  • Clutch: while pulling the cord, it is the clutch that rotates the roller tube, ensuring easy raising and lowering of the dual roller blinds.

The fabric of the roller blinds is available in several designs, patterns, and sleek looks that serve different purposes. The blinds are both motorized and manual. However, the cost of both types differs a lot. Although the motorized dual roller blinds are easy to operate, its operational price and maintenance are a bit high. However, manual shades are an affordable alternative. Whatever be the price, it entirely depends upon your budget and requirements.
