3207 Beach Patrol @ Creatures of the Bay Artwork Exhibition Opening

When:   Saturday 17 June, 2pm- 4pm

Where:  Gasworks Park Galleries

www.gasworks.org.au/event/creatures-of-the-bay/

Come along to the Creatures of the Bay artwork opening!  See the combined creativity of 5 local schools, in sculpture and artworks, to represent our marine environment using only plastic litter collected from local beaches and streets.

Organised by local community groups, the exhibition aims to raise awareness of the detrimental impact plastic pollution is having on Port Phillip Bay.  Beach Patrol volunteers helped the students with beach litter surveys and collection of plastic items for their artwork.

Wear your Beach Patrol gear and support this community effort against plastic litter while promoting Beach Patrol in our local community!
See you there!

Note: If you can’t make it to the opening, the exhibition is open from Wednesday 14 June to Sunday 2 July, from 9.30am to 4pm.
