Welcome to Listen To Older Voices, a program produced
by Rob Greaves for Uniting Melba and podcast through the Toorak Times
and Tagg.
Listen To Older Voices presents the stories, views and opinions of our older citizens. It is predominantly in a life & times format, with interviewees reflecting upon their lives from earliest memories. An underlying principle of the program is to promote the concept of positive ageing, reinforcing the principle that older people have & continue to make a valuable contribution to both their local & wider community.

This is a Baby Boomers Special program.
This is the final program in the 4-part series of the incredibly talented, English born Chris Stockely. It is the story of a man who migrated to Australia in the early 1960’s as a young teen and carved out a remarkable career in some of our most noteworthy music groups. In this program Chris tells the story of how the time came when he had to focus his career on writing his own material and how this led to his recent, and first solo album – Pale New Sun.

However during this program, we divert from music and learn about Chris and his wife Jenny’s move into the world of location catering for films. But, there’s more! Chris shares his thoughts on a range of social issues, which in turn helps us, the listener, understand even more about this man who is certainly at seventy years of age not ready to go quietly into retirement.
